Marketing and Sales Planning Assistant (Non-exempt)


-Summary
A Japanese company is seeking a Marketing and Sales Planning Assistant (Non-exempt).


-Essential Duties

  1. Marketing/Sales support (CALPICO, Juroku Cha, MITSUYA, REFREZZ, WILKINSON, and others)
    1.1. Develop marketing activities for each brand, such as outreach, donations, etc.
    1.2. Support or create brand key visuals for advertising, promotion, and social media use.
    1.3. Create presentation and sales tools in cooperation with the sales team.
    1.4. Develop and prepare POP materials and display tools.

  2. Social Media, Website Management
    2.1. Create, check, and review content in collaboration with agencies.
    2.2. Build strategies to increase traffic and sales.
    2.3. Analyze costs and effectiveness.
    2.4. Develop strategies for new consumer campaigns, prepare and produce promotional materials, and support website updates through agencies.

  3. Support PR activities such as trade shows, conferences, and PR events.

  4. Attend sales meetings.

  5. Refer to the Appendix for Task List.

-Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience in marketing, or a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or business-related fields.

Experience with the creative process and understanding of digital marketing.

Strategic thinking skills to drive initiatives aligned with growth strategies.

Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team.

Ability to establish good relationships with customers (distributors, brokers, and agencies).

Understanding of Customer Relationships and Creative Services.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Occasional local travel required.

English and Japanese bilingual ability is a big plus.
