Outside Sales Representative
-Summary
They are seeking a proactive and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell both our national branded products (ramen soup-related items) and private-label offerings to new and existing clients in the U.S. food industry. This role includes travel, customer engagement, and market education with a focus on the Japanese ramen culture and culinary techniques.

-Job Duties
Conduct market research and analysis, including tastings and competitive review, to identify new target areas, develop sales strategies, and manage progress reports.
Educate clients on product features and preparation methods, including live demos and trade show presentations.
Respond to inquiries via website, phone, and email from existing and prospective customers.
Conduct in-person client visits, maintain existing relationships, and actively engage in new business development (including cold calling). Requires 1–2 business trips per month.
Promote national brand products.
Support development and sales of private-label products tailored to client specifications.
Prepare reports and various internal documentation, including paperwork related to new product/sample creation and data analysis.
Manage and track inventory and samples.
Capture product photos and cooking demo videos; update online promotional content and assist with sales materials.
* Other Duties:
Training across multiple departments, including production, will be provided after onboarding.
Weekend/holiday travel may be required due to trade shows or presentations.
Candidate may be asked to support non-sales departments or general duties at the manager’s discretion.

$68,640 – $80,000/year (DOE)

-Qualifications
Strong cross-cultural communication skills with understanding of Japanese and American business etiquette.
Analytical skills to assess market trends and contribute to sales planning.
Ability to take initiative and act promptly to meet and exceed sales goals.
Proficiency in creating reports and presentation materials.
