Sales Representative
-Summary
A major Japanese trading company is seeking a Sales Representative to manage customer account sales.
-Essential Duties
・Understand budgets and sales targets, and promote company services as an account sales representative for customers
・Discuss business opportunities with supervisors and propose ideas to expand sales revenue
・Contribute to achieving monthly sales and gross profit targets as a team member
・Prepare quotations, process orders, obtain supplier quotations, place purchase orders, and negotiate pricing/terms
・Review customer credit status, process credit updates, and handle advance payment procedures
・Prepare various sales reports and lists for self-review and team member review
・Prioritize tasks based on urgency and complete duties within working hours
・Develop knowledge of the aviation industry / aftermarket business and improve sales skills
・Travel for customer visits as needed
・Perform other duties assigned as needed (including overtime)

7.5 hours per day

Torrance, CA
Hybrid work style (minimum 2 days per week in office, remote work allowed otherwise)
*Daily office attendance required during the first 90 days for training
-Salary and Benefit
$44,000 – $51,000 + Overtime pay
*Determined within company guidelines based on experience and skills

-Qualifications
・3+ years of related work experience and knowledge
・Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written): able to respond to inquiries from customers, executives, staff, and the general public, and able to prepare reports/manuals in English
・Numerical calculation skills: discounts, interest, fees, etc.
