Inside Sales Assistant


-Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inside Sales Assistant to support our growing e-commerce and inside sales operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving online sales performance across platforms such as Amazon and our company’s online store.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, can manage accurate product listings, assist with order processing, and provide excellent customer support. The role also includes light administrative and accounting support (such as sales order creation and invoice processing) to ensure smooth daily business operations.


-Essential Duties

1. E-commerce Management (Primary Responsibility)
• Manage day-to-day operations of Amazon and the company’s online store.
• Maintain and update product listings, pricing, and promotional content.
• Optimize product pages using SEO, keywords, and improved descriptions to increase sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to prevent stockouts.
• Review and analyze sales data and performance metrics (ranking, conversion, ROI, reviews).
• Assist in preparing weekly/monthly e-commerce reports for management.
• Monitor competitor activity and platform updates to maintain strong market positioning.

2. Inside Sales Operations
• Process customer purchase orders and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Support B2B and online customers with product questions, order status, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock information.
• Support the improvement of internal sales workflows and documentation.

3. Digital Marketing & Content Management
• Manage Instagram content planning, posting, engagement, and basic analytics.
• Update and maintain company website content (product pages, news, announcements).
• Support creation of digital assets (photos, captions, using Canva or similar tools).
• Monitor online customer inquiries from social media channels.

4. Customer Service
• Handle customer messages (email, online platforms, phone) professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate internally to resolve returns, complaints, or delivery issues.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and contribute to positive brand reputation.

5. Administrative & Accounting Support (Secondary Responsibility)
• Create sales orders, check invoices, and issue invoices as needed.
• Enter accounting-related data into QuickBooks when required.
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support daily office operations.


-Working Hours

8:30~17:30

・Regular work hours: 08:30 – 17:30 (include 1 hour lunch break)

・Minimum lunch break is 30 min and work hours can be flexible depending on the length of lunch break hour. (Example: Start:9:00am, Finish:17:00 with 30 min lunch break)

Required Skills & Competencies
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (required).
• Basic experience with QuickBooks for invoicing or data entry (required).
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English (required for communication with customers).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
