-Position
Sales Engineer

-Summary
A major Japanese IT company is seeking a Sales Engineer.

-Essential Duties
Before Contract
・Regularly contact and visit new and existing customers to understand needs/issues and explain KDDI America’s solutions.
・Create strategies to solve customer issues using SI, network integration, or PM experience.
・Meet with business partners (application, network/server, security vendors) to identify the best solutions.
・Prepare solutions and presentations based on customer needs analysis.
・Provide product/service presentations and demonstrations directly to customers.
・Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and service agreements.

After Contract
・Prepare sales documents required to finalize contracts.
・Coordinate application system or network implementation projects with internal engineers and external partners.
・Manage implementation schedules in cooperation with internal teams and partners.
・Troubleshoot customer system issues with engineering teams and partners.
・Maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.

Others
・Maintain customer records using automated systems.
・Report daily sales activities to the supervisor in a timely manner.
・Conduct research with colleagues to discover new markets and customers.

Business Skills
・Work experience in System Integration or as a Project Manager
・Ability to handle IT solutions, communicate directly and positively with customers, identify business issues, create solutions, and work in a team-oriented environment

IT Skills
・Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
・Networking (Router, Server, Security, Cloud, etc.) or programming (C, Java, R, Python, etc.)

Preferred Experience
・Project Manager experience: communicate with all stakeholders to complete projects
・Marketing experience: develop marketing strategies
