-Position
Sales Representative
-Essential Duties
● Responsible for maintenance and development of customer accounts
● Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors; products, prices,
customer’s A/R balance and sales
● Communicate daily with customers
● Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and uses
● Recommend products to customers, based on customers; needs and interests
● Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain
product features, and solicit orders
● Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to
provide ongoing support
● Provide customers with product samples and catalogs
● Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and
order forms
● Collect payment
● Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports,
keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
● Stock items at customer locations when needed
● Travel for business events (weekends included)
● Other duties as required to support on-going sales and other branch operational
needs
-Working Hours
8:30am–5:00pm

-Qualifications
Education/Experience/Skills:
● College graduate or equivalent preferred
● Excellent English & Japanese language skills in reading, writing, and speaking
● Knowledge of Japanese language and business culture preferred
● Good driving record required
● Able to drive long distances
● Strong attention to detail
● Previous sales experience required
● Prior experience in Asian food sales/distribution industry preferred
● Microsoft Office computer skills required (Excel, Word)
